Sparkles & Pearls

We love adding a bit of extra sparkle to your wedding dress on your 'Big Day'. We stock various necklaces and bracelets to accessorize perfectly.

Whether you are looking for pearls or sparkle we have something that would suit you!

Getting the perfect balance of size, colour, style, and material with your chosen jewellery is crucial for complimenting your wedding dress but not distracting from it. We never like to suggest jewellery that takes away from your dress and we try to offer our help and advice in store for you to find what you are looking for.

With some of the jewellery designers that we stock they offer a more bespoke service. For example, the necklace featured above (right) is an example of a bespoke order which was made to suit the brides shape of her dress more. We love our brides to want something unique and individual so don't be afraid to ask us to find something fabulous that is made for your dress and looks perfect!

We love adding a back necklace to your dress. They work perfect for brides that have a wedding dress with a low back as a feature. The necklace helps to emphasise the low back and add an extra bit of sparkle!

With the back necklace it doesn't necessarily have to be covered in crystals and sparkles, having pearls as shown above or a combination of crystal and pearls works beautifully as it creates a sparkly vintage look.

Wedding Veils

Here at The Wedding Room we love a veil. Your wedding day is the only occasion in which you can wear one and completely combines tradition with some modernity of new wedding dress designs. We always say there is never a veil that is too much for us! This image below just epitomises how amazing and fabulous veils are! Also a great way to have a fun photograph with all the bridesmaids!

Our main stockist for veils is Rainbow Club, in which we have around 10 different styles that work perfectly with our dresses, so feel free to come and try some on. Even if you didn't buy your wedding dress from us don't let that put you off from coming and finding the perfect veil and accessories in our shop.

Below are some of the veils we stock, which vary completely in length and have different features such as lace, Swarovski crystals and embellishment.

The styling of these Rainbow club veils in their campaign is quite traditional and virginal and therefore it's important to consider how each veil will look completely different with your own dress and styling.

Some examples below are how traditional looking veils can be made extremely glamorous and fashionable.

Often we find that brides think the veil also has to go over your face. This is certainly not the case with most of our veils as most of them are not double tiered so they do not function like that. Also the veil doesn't have to sit on top of your hair, as featured above in the photographs, the veil also sits perfectly below your hair and looks especially beautiful with the hair curled into a big bun.

We love this diagram to show all the different types of veils. So now there is no excuse as to why you can't find and choose a length, design and shape that suits you and you dress perfectly.

If you are not sure about having a veil, then don't miss out on having a head piece. For example, this beautiful birdcage below acts almost like a tiny veil and is a beautiful feature to add to the styling of your wedding day. Here at The Wedding Room we have loads of birdcages and head pieces for you to come and try on!

A Beautiful Beach Wedding

We find that the option to get married abroad is becoming more and more popular with our brides at The Wedding Room. The idea of a more intimate wedding, guaranteed sunshine and a romantic destination just seems wonderful, and it means that you are not limited to getting married in the summer, which of course is an added bonus!

We've researched into some beautiful location ideas, to inspire your colour schemes and decorations.

We think a must have for a beach wedding is using draped fabric as part of your decorations. It helps to create a very whimsical and relaxed atmosphere and we love the use of blue as it brings out the blue of the sea background, creating a perfect ambiance and colour balance in photographs.

Your choice of lighting for when the evening arrives is crucial. It is so important for creating the right mood  and keeping the feeling of romance. Using either fairy lights or different types of lanterns (hanging or on the ground) works perfectly to dimly light the location and to add a little sparkle.

We found some fabulous examples of colour schemes you could use for your beach wedding.

We found that using this neutral colour palette is the perfect way to bring together all the colours of a beach location. The colours work perfectly for the bride and groom and easily translate into bridesmaid dresses, cake ideas and detailing. We found some beautiful examples to show you and to inspire you for your own wedding.

To finish off the this picturesque blog I found a beautiful way for the bride to complete her beach look. No one wants sand in their shoes on their wedding day so why not have sole less sandals. Your feet still look beautiful, elegant, girly and sparkly but without the hassle of actual shoes. We found some beautiful styles that are shown below. Some of which are handmade on Etsy from as little as £10! They are such amazing value and just perfect for a beach wedding! Happy Shopping Beautiful Brides!
