Dress Feature - Divine LouLou Gown

Just look at this divine LouLou gown LB19 So ladies, what is not to love about this gown? It is FAB-U-LOUS darlings!! The beautiful delicacy of the bodice, offset by the flowing skirt; so retro and yet a modern classic.

The simplicity of this style is actually very clever; unfussy lines and yet it is the up close detailing that is stunning. The lace flower petals are so delicate over the sweetheart neckline of the bodice and the optional 3/4 length sleeves here are a lovely nod to the 1950s wedding dresses.

I love the lighter look of the skirt; if like me you are pear shaped then this style can be perfect to make you feel comfortable and look a million dollars. B2Bs can still have some mean glitzy shoes that will temptingly peep out in the photos. The gathered waist cleverly helps to accentuate as it cleanly nips in and don't you just love the lace flower petal detail cascading softly down over the skirt in a graduated way? How gorgeous!!

Another appealing thing about this gown is that you can easily accessorise it if you want. Here you can see that Mary has added a subtle touch of sparkle with this vintage style sash around the waist. Plus a birdcage veil would really set this off a treat.

This is a gown that could be worn at any time of the year and in any weather by choosing to have the delicate lace sleeves or not; or by adding a shrug or fake fur stole for a cooler date. Definitely something to consider if you have a UK wedding planned; especially an outside venue. What would your decision be??

To really rock your 1950's mojo you can also get this dress in tea length too......oh and add a colour net petticoat....and gloves.....bright red lipstick....do you see it too?

Bye for now,
